DNA Clean-Up and Concentration Kits

The Genomic DNA Clean & Concentrator (gDCC) kits are specialized gDNA clean-up tools that deliver quick recovery of ultra-pure, large-sized DNA (e.g., genomic, mitochondrial, plasmid (BAC/PAC), viral, phage, or wga DNA) in just 5 minutes from enzymatic reactions or impure preparations like Proteinase K digestion. Simply add the specialized ChIP DNA Binding Buffer to a sample, transfer it to the included Zymo-Spin Column, and recover purified DNA that is ready for applications such as sequencing, PCR, endonuclease digestion, and more. The gDCC kits are also compatible with smaller DNA fragments (50 bp to 10 kb) from various sources.

The Oligo Clean & Concentrator simplifies the recovery and clean-up of DNA/RNA fragments and oligonucleotides ≥ 16 nt from labeling (radioactive, biotin, DIG, etc.) and enzymatic reactions. The clean-up procedure effectively removes contaminants, including unincorporated nucleotides, short oligos, dyes, enzymes, and salts, concentrating DNA/RNA into a small volume of water. Purified DNA/RNA is ready in just 2 minutes and can be used for hybridization, gel shift assays, enzymatic reactions, ligation, sequencing, microarray analysis, and more.

With these kits, the size selection is tunable from 100 bp to 900 bp with left, right, or double size selection. Choose from one of the pre-determined cutoffs or fine tune the protocol of these size selection DNA kits for even more specific selections between these points. The Select-a-Size DNA Clean & Concentrator Kit represents a quick and easy spin-column procedure to select for ≥ 300 bp, ≥ 200 bp, ≥ 150 bp, ≥ 100 bp, ≥ 50 bp DNA fragments or perform a double size selection. The workflow is straightforward: adjust the binding conditions for the desired cutoff, bind, wash, and elute. 

In the Select-a-Size DNA Clean & Concentrator MagBead Kit, the size of the nucleic acid and the ratio of the magnetic beads control what is retained on the beads and what remains in the supernatant. Either fraction (beads or supernatant) can be further purified, which is an enabling and flexible feature of this technology.

The Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) DNA Clean & Concentrator simplifies the process of rapidly purifying and concentrating high-quality DNA at any stage of a standard ChIP protocol. This includes DNA from reverse cross-linked samples, those treated with Proteinase K or RNase A, mechanically or nuclease-sheared DNA, and samples eluted from chromatin-antibody-bead complexes. Its unique ChIP DNA Binding Buffer ensures effective DNA adsorption to the column in the presence of common ChIP reagents such as detergents, antibodies, and proteinases.
