The ZymoPURE™ II Plasmid purification kits offer the fastest and easiest way to isolate up to 25 mg of transfection-grade plasmid DNA from E. coli. These kits combine a modified alkaline lysis protocol with patented binding chemistry, enabling the ZymoPURE™ II Midi and Maxiprep processes to be completed in under 18 minutes. They produce significantly higher DNA yields while cutting processing times drastically. Plasmid DNA is bound rapidly to a column using either a vacuum or centrifuge. Yeast plasmid miniprep kits
The Zymoprep™ Yeast Plasmid Miniprep kits provide a simple and efficient solution for yeast plasmid purification, based on the E. coli alkaline lysis method but with Zymolyase as the initial step. These products include all necessary reagents for isolating plasmids from S. cerevisiae, C. albicans, P. pastoris, S. pombe, and other fungi whose cell walls are susceptible to yeast lytic enzyme lysis.
The procedure is fast and user-friendly, eliminating the need for glass beads or phenol. Zymoprep II offers up to five times higher plasmid DNA recovery than Zymoprep I and removes the isopropanol precipitation step. For high-throughput plasmid isolation, Zymoprep-96 implements the Zymoprep II protocol in a 96-well format, ideal for clone screening.
This system excels at isolating low-copy-number and hard-to-isolate plasmids. Plasmid DNA can be reliably recovered from yeast colonies, patches on plates, or liquid cultures and used directly for applications like E. coli transformation, PCR, and Southern blot analysis.
