ZymoBIOMICS® DNA Kits – Unbiased DNA extraction for microbiome profiling
The ZymoBIOMICS DNA Kits are designed for efficient DNA purification across various sample types, providing DNA ready for microbiome or metagenome analyses. Using the ZymoBIOMICS® lysis system, these kits overcome biases from unequal lysis efficiencies in different organisms (e.g., Gram-negative/positive bacteria, fungi, protozoans, and algae), ensuring reliable microbial community profiling. The system achieves uniform mechanical lysis of tough microbes through bead beating using innovative ultra-high-density BashingBeads™. Additionally, the kit features the OneStep™ PCR Inhibitor Removal technology, allowing PCR reactions from inhibitor-rich environmental samples. The purified DNA is compatible with various downstream applications, including PCR, arrays, 16S rRNA gene sequencing, and shotgun sequencing, with DNA sizes ranging from 8 to 15 kb.
