Nordic BioSite Group announces acquisition of LubioScience & name change to Europa Biosite
Established in 1997, Nordic BioSite was founded with the ambition to be the leading Nordic distribution partner of premium reagents for life science research use.
Four years ago, following the successful penetration of the Nordic market, their commercial ambition was broadened to become the leading life science distributor in Europe. Nordic BioSite Group has since increased sales x5 through high organic growth and yearly best-in-class acquisitions. On September 11, they announced their latest acquisition, LubioScience, in Switzerland. As the fastest growing life science distributor in Switzerland, LubioScience is an excellent additon to the Group and an important step towards the ambiton to provide exceptional distribution services across Europe. In recognition of the geographical expansion, they are ready to progress to a new name that is more refleceive of the growth and future ambitions. Nordic BioSite Group will be known as Europa Biosite. Europa Biosite is a name that reflects the aspirations to be the leading site for life science products within Europe.

Will I still be able to order your products as I used to?

Will there be any change in terms of products or suppliers?
No, we will keep our entire portfolio of 130+ suppliers and 5+ Mio. products. And we will continue to add new, exciting products and suppliers.
Will you increase prices?
There will be no immediate price increases due to Lubio joining Europa Biosite. On the contrary, it will enable us to become more efficient and to pass this on to our customers. Given the inflationary situation and the supply chain challenges we all face today, price increases are an unfortunate part of reality. As such, we may be forced to adjust our pricing from time to time.
