The Alt-R CRISPR system offers powerful on-target editing and reduced off-target effects compared to traditional approaches. This system is non-toxic and easy to deliver into a wide array of cells by lipofection or electroporation. In addition, we will review how to enhance homology-directed repair (HDR) in your genome editing experiments using the Alt-R HDR design tool, HDR donor oligos and HDR Enhancer.
The webinar is given by Lai Chan, the Field Application Manager for CRISPR and Functional Genomics at IDT. Lai received his Master of Science in Biochemistry & Biotechnology from the University of Leuven and has been at IDT since 2017.
